I always feel a little bad when I'm totally annoyed by one of my customers but then when I'm done they're nice or they leave a good tip. Today my least favorite annoy the crap out of me move came along. It's not the first time and won't be the last time this one's happened. I'm tattooing this dude, he's crying about it and his girlfriend is with him. She's holding his hand, next thing she's putting his fingers in her mouth or smooching right there in front of me. What is wrong with people? Keep it to yourself you freaks! I'm trying to work. Not to mention the whole day was nothing but cover ups.
So listen, your tattoo will hurt less if you act like you're in an actual place of business and not at some nightclub or something where it's ok to slobber on your girlfriend.
The tattoo image is by Joseph Hartley from Bristol, Great Britain who tattooed in the 1930's.The sheet is printed in Henk Schiffmacher's (Hanky Panky) excellent tome 1000 Tattoos
