London Tattoo Conventionl-noble-brad.gifWe're baaack. Holy crap Londonwas awesome. Miki did it again. This show is off the hook! The place is huge It's in  the Old Truman Brewery . There are three floors and open to close all three days the floor was jammed. 10 minutes to get across the room easy. People were there to get tattooed everyone was busy and people were even getting cool stuff. Steve did script all weekend because he's the script master. It seems script is the new tribal. I got to do a couple pin ups and Darryl from Diamond Jacksgot a nice skull hand tatty and I even had a few returning customers from last year. We had a full  booth with Me  Brad, Big Steve , Seth,  Chappy and Sean from Iron Age all working away. I don't think Ive ever seen Brad  do so many tattoos at a convention. The best thing about a show like this is that it's all top notch names, we get to see lots of old friends The before party was extra special this year, (again put on by Mo Coppoletta ) and as an extra treat Jamie Ruth got to the Karaoke machine followed by a stunning performance from Troy Denning, (I believe Brad captured the show on video so check Utube later for that) The convention is a great chance to meet people you've always heard of. This year our booth was next to Paul Jeffries I was happy to get a chance to get to know Paul a little, someone whos work i've always admired. It was like a million degrees on the floor so  shirtless Tod Noble was across the way for all of us to admire, (check out him and Brad all gangsta and sh*t. you scarred?)

London Tattoo convention We also got to see our good friend Lucky Diamond Richwho we've missed terribly. Lucky is the worl'd most tattooed man and is a world class performer and one of the nicest chap's you could ever meet. We had a great time hanging out with Lucky and I must sayIf  he's ever performing at a show you're at make it a point to see him, his show is awesome and it's a good time to get tattooed from Lucky as well.

So  thanks and praise go to Miki and his crew for once again pulling off one of the most massive and well run  shows in the world, With averything going on they were so thoughtful as to have people going around offering  Bounty (not the cheap stuff) ,cups, razors, water, etc to the artist for their convenience,  it was like the magic supply fairy there to make our lives a little easier, can you imagine? It was a great time and we even had about an hour in the morning before our flight to do a little sightseeing did a runthrough of Westminster Abbey, saw Big Ben and even had room to stretch out on the plane on the way home.London Tattoo convention
