We're baaack. Holy crap Londonwas awesome. Miki did it again. This show is off the hook! The place is huge It's in the Old Truman Brewery . There are three floors and open to close all three days the floor was jammed. 10 minutes to get across the room easy. People were there to get tattooed everyone was busy and people were even getting cool stuff. Steve did script all weekend because he's the script master. It seems script is the new tribal. I got to do a couple pin ups and Darryl from Diamond Jacksgot a nice skull hand tatty and I even had a few returning customers from last year. We had a full booth with Me Brad, Big Steve , Seth, Chappy and Sean from Iron Age all working away. I don't think Ive ever seen Brad do so many tattoos at a convention. The best thing about a show like this is that it's all top notch names, we get to see lots of old friends The before party was extra special this year, (again put on by Mo Coppoletta ) and as an extra treat Jamie Ruth got to the Karaoke machine followed by a stunning performance from Troy Denning, (I believe Brad captured the show on video so check Utube later for that) The convention is a great chance to meet people you've always heard of. This year our booth was next to Paul Jeffries I was happy to get a chance to get to know Paul a little, someone whos work i've always admired. It was like a million degrees on the floor so shirtless Tod Noble was across the way for all of us to admire, (check out him and Brad all gangsta and sh*t. you scarred?)

We just got back from the 4th annual Grease Monkey block party to celebrate the life and memory of our friend Indian Larry . I met Larry when I first moved down to Ludlow Street back when he was working on the Lower East Side at Psycho Cycles. Larry let me do a big Devil lady on his leg and we were friends since. He let me bother him for help on my Riviera, questions upon questions and even brought me little broken motors to take apart so I could learn a couple things about the innards of an engine. To meet Larry you wouldn't think he was a guy with legions of fans at the top of his craft admired and looked up to by his peers. Larry somehow remained humble with his kind heart and friendly smile allways present. Larry's work and chopper style lives on though the work of his team members Paul Cox
and Keino. What was Gasoline Alley is now Indian Larry Legacy. Larry's legacy is well protected in the hands of Paul and Keino as you can see by the bikes they've produced
and by the crowds of people that turned out to pay tribute with them. It was great seeing so many friends. Thanks again guys for having everyone over. And kisses to Bambi especially.

I know, I know I haven't said anything about the Boston tattoo Convention yet. I've just been so tired since we got home and the pile of email was so deep I just ran out of steam after slogging through it (doesn't anyone use a phone anymore) I promise I will post soon but I'm not going to give anything away. So in the mean time check out the cute kids that posed on our Fun City sign scroll over the picture to see both shots, Don't worry I'll post soon, like tomorrow.
