Yesterday was super fun at Fun City. The Rescue Me team was in to film
a scene in the shop. Uncle Teddy
was in the chair and they brought in
their own guy for the part of
"burly tattoo artist" however yours truly
got to sit in as the tattooer in the background.
Before the crew showed up I was a little worried
when I saw the entire block covered with no parking signs for the day
and the trucks parked for blocks all around, but these
guys were so great. True professionals they were shooting at two other East Village
locations, I figured they'd be hours behind by the time they got to
the shop yet they were out a half hour early and had
packed up and
moved on in no time at all. The crew was a pleasure to have in the shop, everyone was friendly
and as an added bonus our friend Adam Roth (Daredevil neighbor, customer and
comedian extraordinaire) stopped by with Denis Leary to say hello. Glad you made it by Adam, don't be a srtanger the mean lady is gone.
All in all it really was a fun day I can't wait to see the episode when it airs they said 6 weeks from the June premier so I'll put the word out when the day gets closer The pictures below show some of the action for the
day they wrapped
the outside in a garbage bag
first then piled in the shop for the first scene? then the last scene was shot outside in front of the
shop at night.
