Friday the 13th tattoos

On every Friday the 13th at Daredevil on Ludlow Street, you may choose a tattoo from a fresh sheet of flash that was drawn just for that day. The tattoo cost 13 dollars with a lucky 7 dollar tip. Bring a 20 dollar bill. NO CREDIT CARDS, it's 20 dollars fer christ sake. Doors open around 12 noon and the fun ends when we say so. First come first served. If you are annoying we may not  tattoo you, if you complain about anything we won't tattoo you. You are lucky to be tattooed at all in our shop for 20 dollars so please show us how privledged you feel. Be nice to our neighbors and don't get in their way. No necks/hands/backs/feet/or anything else we don't want to do, and no being a pain in our collective asses. This is a 20 dollar tattoo. If this ever gets to be more of a hassle than fun we won't do it any more. So be the best customer you can be. Also the day is very hectic you are not showing up to get a great example of fine tattooing,  you are showing up to take part in a day of fun with a momento of the day permanently affixed to you hide, If you would like a tattoo that you can art direct and nit-pick then you shouldn't come down for Friday the 13th. On Friday the 13th you get tattooed at your own risk.

And just so you know, we sometimes auction off the days sheet on Ebay. So not only do you get a one of a kind tattoo for $20, you also have the chance at purchasing an original piece of art that will commemorate the expierience for you.

That should about cover everything so don't call us with questions, don't email  just show up and deal with  the crowds, the wait and any other discomforts you wouldn't have to deal with on a normal day in the shop.

Walk-Ins and Appointments

- Walk Ins - At Daredevil and Fun City we take walk-ins if time is available, however it is allways a good idea to call ahead to check for availability so you don't have to wait around. (Fun City 212 353 8282 - DD 212 533 8303)

-Appointments- If you would like to set up an appointment with a specific artist your best bet is to call and see when that artist will be in and then stop by the shop to speak with the artist in person. We don't like taking appointments over the phone so please make arrangements to come by if at all possible. However if you are coming in from out of town or something and there is no way for you to stop by in advance then other arrangements can be made.

-Deposits- We require a deposit to reserve time and for any drawing. This deposit depends upon how much time you are booking and how much preparation is needed for your design. The deposit goes towards the cost of your tattoo. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. You must call 24 hours in advance to cancel an appointment and not loose your deposit.
