For you guys that missed it the Rumblers car show rocked again this year. It's not the biggest car show but in my book it's one of the best. Perhaps that's why it's the best. So many car show these days are grueling affairs just because of their size or their location. This show brings out all the familiar faces, a great crowd, no trailer queens and cars that aren't just put together with fat wallets and designer shops. These guys bring it back to the roots of hot rodding where you get your hands dirty, you get chips in the paint and you're lucky you make it to the show at all without getting arrested on the way. Motorcycles, hot rods and tattoos have have become status symbols or fashion accessories to many, so it is a pleasure to spend time with people that share the same passions but didn't get in to it because they saw it on TV. Good job guys! And congratulations to my friend Woody from my other favorite car club The Beatniks who won "Rumblers Choice" with his bad ass Ford coupe. No store bought trophys for these guys, another nice touch.
