It's finally here after all their hard work Seth and Dawn have pulled togerther their first calendar for their collaborative project named Seul Contre Tous , The Art For a Cure Calendar donates proceeds to charities which support breast cancer research. Each calendar will be shot by a different photographer with different models, but this one was shot by my good friend Dale May . Each month represents a different tattoo pin up icon and models include Sabina, (pictured) Amina Munster, Betty Lipstick and others. The calendar is $15 stop by Daredevil for a copy or catch Seth and Dawn at a convention where you can also get posters and tshirts too.

We just got back from the 4th annual Grease Monkey block party to celebrate the life and memory of our friend Indian Larry . I met Larry when I first moved down to Ludlow Street back when he was working on the Lower East Side at Psycho Cycles. Larry let me do a big Devil lady on his leg and we were friends since. He let me bother him for help on my Riviera, questions upon questions and even brought me little broken motors to take apart so I could learn a couple things about the innards of an engine. To meet Larry you wouldn't think he was a guy with legions of fans at the top of his craft admired and looked up to by his peers. Larry somehow remained humble with his kind heart and friendly smile allways present. Larry's work and chopper style lives on though the work of his team members Paul Cox and Keino. What was Gasoline Alley is now Indian Larry Legacy. Larry's legacy is well protected in the hands of Paul and Keino as you can see by the bikes they've produced and by the crowds of people that turned out to pay tribute with them. It was great seeing so many friends. Thanks again guys for having everyone over. And kisses to Bambi especially.

What Can You Do To Save Coney Island
Please write a letter to Planning Director, Amanda Burden
Amanda Burden is NYC's Planning Director. She plays a very important
role in determining whether or not Thor Equities will get the rezoning
they desire to build luxury condos on the boardwalk in Coney Island.
She has made a bold stand against Thor Equities. You can read more
about her position in this article in New York Magazine!
Please write to Amanda Burden to let her know that you support her
position that there should be NO CONDOS in the Amusement District.
You can email her
Even if it is just a brief note to show your support!
Please let her know that she has the support of the Coney Islands community!
or, please sign this online petition

I know, I know I haven't said anything about the Boston tattoo Convention yet. I've just been so tired since we got home and the pile of email was so deep I just ran out of steam after slogging through it (doesn't anyone use a phone anymore) I promise I will post soon but I'm not going to give anything away. So in the mean time check out the cute kids that posed on our Fun City sign scroll over the picture to see both shots, Don't worry I'll post soon, like tomorrow.

There's a new article online from the Columbia News Service about lip tattoos featuring Fun City's own Peggy Punch's charming lip tatty. Big Steve Pedone is referred to as "Redone" and there are a few words from our friend Kevin LeBlanc . I personally won't tattoo lips, something about people breathing in my face and trying to tattoo their slimy mouths doesn't appeal to me. I leave the lips to others.
PS I didn't censor Peggy's lip I snaged the picture as is from the article
